Swagatham 2025 – KCT Business School

Swagatham 2025 was held on September 25, 2025, at the Ramanandha Adigalar Auditorium, Kumaraguru College of Technology, to welcome the new MBA batch of 2025-27. Organized by KCT Business School (KCTBS), the event marked the formal welcome of the new MBA batch, celebrating the beginning of their academic journey. The program commenced with a prayer song and தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்து presented by Team Tharangam, followed by a floral tribute to Arutchelvar Dr. N. Mahalingam, Founder of the Institution.

The Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. Sangeetha S., Professor & Head i/c KCTBS, who extended a warm greeting to the students and parents, highlighting the school’s vision of academic excellence and value-based education.

The Presidential Address by Shri Shankar Vanavarayar, President – Kumaraguru Institutions, was a key moment of the event. He emphasized the importance of curiosity, resilience, and ethical leadership in today’s business world. His inspiring words encouraged students to embrace challenges and cultivate a spirit of innovation. This was followed by reflections from Students and Parents, who shared their experiences and expectations from KCT Business School. Their reflections conveyed a strong sense of gratitude, pride, and optimism for the learning journey ahead, underscoring the institution’s supportive and nurturing environment

The Pledge Ceremony was led by the MBA Student President, who administered a solemn pledge to uphold integrity, responsibility, and excellence in all academic and professional pursuits. The segment also included a brief overview of Ignite; a leadership initiative aimed at promoting innovation and student engagement within KCTBS. The event concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Ezhilarasi M., Principal, KCT, followed by the National Anthem.
