Menstrual Health & Hygiene Camp on September 21, 2025

a Menstrual Health and Hygiene camp for the Tribal Women of Kallarpudur was organized on 21 September 2025 by the mentees of Dr. B Poongodi, Professor as part of their SIP Prject. Around 70 participants with 50 plus direct beneficiaries had the opportunity to get diagnosed by Dr. Jasmine Nirmal, Public Health Special, Coimbatore Airports Authority. The doctor spoke on menstrual hygiene speech to the tribal women. The event was led by Amritha V, 24MB015 & team from the Batch of 2024-26 under the guidance of Dr.B.Poongodi.  Anakha Rajan 24MBA016, Arun Niteesh G 24MBA021 and Aravind P 24MBA019, played key role in sourcing sponsorships equivalent to Rs. 24,500/- from Timber Merchants Association, Mettupalayam; Bliss Naturals, Coimbatore and Dr. Jasmine Nirmal for organizing this medical camp and healthy refreshments.  Ashwitha Priya S 24MBA023 and Aruna Devi 24MBA022, interacted with the tribal women to understand their food intake pattern and demographic details to take the project ahead. Anukeerthana 24MBA018, Amirtha B 24MBA018 and Annie Valentina J D 24MBA017 coordinated for the health check-ups. Arnesh K 24MBA020, Allwin Kenneth P 24MBA013 & Aswath S were involved in mobilizing the beneficiaries & distribution of nutritional food for this event.
