Dr. M. Sree Charan
Assistant Professor
Dr. M. Sree Charan is an Assistant Professor at KCT Business School, with a Ph.D. in Management Studies from the University of Hyderabad and an MBA in Human Resource Management and Information Technology from Osmania University. His research interests lie in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, particularly employee motivation, self-leadership, flow at work, playful work design, employee well-being, and performance. His research employs quantitative and experience-sampling approaches to understand employee behaviour and workplace experiences.
Prior to academia, Dr. Charan served as an Assistant Commandant in the Indian Coast Guard, gaining experience in leadership, stakeholder coordination, emergency response, decision-making, and high-pressure organizational environments. He has also worked with Reliance Industries Limited and Amazon.
His research has been presented at academic forums including IIM Ahmedabad and XLRI Xavier School of Management. His publications include articles in the South Asian Journal of Management and Psychological Studies, with a book chapter forthcoming with Pacini Giuridica.
