CMIE Prowess Database

An online guest lecture on “CMIE Prowess Database” was organized onNovember 05, 2025, for 180 I MBA students (Batch 2025-27), via MS Teams. Mr. Nishanth B, Business Manager, CMIE Chennai and Mr. Rohit Phule provided a comprehensive demonstration of Prowess Web, India’s largest financial performance database covering over 1,00,000 companies.

Students gained hands-on exposure to querying company data, analyzing stock exchange-linked insights, sectoral comparisons, and interpreting financial statements for equity research, corporate finance, and academic projects. The event was coordinated by Dr. Poongodi B, program Coordinator & Professor- Marketing, in collaboration with the Library team.
