
Field visit to Brookefields Mall, Coimbatore

As part of the Brand Management course, a one-day industrial visit to Brookefields Mall was organized on February 2, 2026, to provide students with experiential exposure to real-world branding practices. The visit enabled them to interact with marketing and business heads of leading retail brands, gaining insights into store operations, brand elements, and unique value propositions.

The program began with a session by Ms. N. A. Sujatha, Centre Marketing Head, Brookefields, who spoke on “Branding a Shopping Mall: From Identity to Experience.” Students also engaged with Mr. Srinath, General Manager, PVR Cinemas, and Mr. Sampath, Manager – Food Court, who shared perspectives on cinema branding and food court operations. Teams also visited RMKV, SPAR Hypermarket, Lifestyle, and Pantaloons, where store heads and marketing leaders elaborated on brand positioning, customer experience strategies, and visual merchandising practices.
A total of 52 students of II MBA- Batch 2024-26 along, including the visiting students from PK Fokam Institute of Excellence, Camerron, Africa, benefited from this immersive learning opportunity, effectively connecting classroom concepts with live retail branding practices.
