Guest Lecture
Guest lecturers offer students the opportunity to meet passionate, committed and critical people and to learn from them in various ways. Guest lecturers can act as role models and bring an authentic, vivid picture of the real world to students, thereby enabling transdisciplinary learning. Experiences and perspectives from local actors and entrepreneurs inspire students in their own (entrepreneurial) projects, creating motivation and an action-orientation.

An online guest lecture was organized for 95 students of Finance specialization (Batch 2024-26) on May 9, 2025. The lecture was facilitated by Mr. Mohan Rangan -Senior Manager (Faculty) at Baroda Academy, Hyderabad, the Staff Training College of Bank of Baroda for the Hyderabad Zone. He commenced the session with an introduction to the changes in MSME classification, setting the stage for a comprehensive exploration of key financial concepts. He delved into topics such as corporate finance, off-balance sheet exposure, bank guarantees, and letters of credit, including their various types and the UCP guidelines governing them. The discussion also covered working capital financing, linking theory with practice through real-time case studies and insights into recent industry developments. Emphasizing practical application and addressing current challenges in the field, the session concluded with an engaging Q&A round, where students participated actively, clarifying their doubts and initiating meaningful discussions.

The Online Guest lecture on Blueprint for the Future: Mastering Human Capital Planning was organized for 16 II MBA-Project Management students (Batch 2023-25) on April 28, 2025. The session started with an introduction of the resource person. The session was handed over to the resource person Mr. Ranjit Naidu Koppula, Managing Director, Raj Consultancy, Rajahmundry. The guest lecture focused on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application of Human Capital in Project Management. Mr. Ranjit Naidu Koppula, shared his insights and wide experience in HRM, to understand the strategic link between human capital and project success, which helped the students to grasp the fundamental concepts and processes of Human Capital Planning. He also touched upon analyzing how HCP can effectively be integrated into the different phases of a project lifecycle. He reiterated how to identify key elements and best practices in human capital planning for projects. He helped the students understand the role of the project manager in driving effective human capital management and to gain insights into future trends shaping human capital in the project management landscape.

The session started with an introduction of the resource person. The session was handed over to the resource person Mr. Ranjit Naidu Koppula, Managing Director, Raj Consultancy, Rajahmundry. Mr. Ranjit Naidu Koppula, Managing Director, Raj Consultancy, Rajahmundry, shared his insights and wide experience in HRM. He elucidated on the fundamental principles of compliance and corporate accountability. He reiterated key legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to project management and the role of the project manager in ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Students were taught the nuances on analyzing the relationship between human capital management and compliance and how to apply risk management principles to mitigate compliance risks. He shared tips on evaluating ethical dilemmas and making sound compliance-related decisions.
