Programs Attended

1. B. Poongodi, Professor of Marketing, KCT Business School, participated in a discussion on Sustainable Solid Waste Management and Eco-Friendly Practices on July 8, 2026, at Siruthuli Head Office, Coimbatore. Led by Smt. Vanitha Mohan, Founder of Siruthuli, and moderated by Mr. C. Cinnasamy, the session brought together industry leaders and academia to discuss water body conservation, Noyyal River rejuvenation, responsible waste disposal, rainwater harvesting, and tribal development initiatives. The discussion reinforced the importance of collaborative efforts towards environmental sustainability.

2. Dr B Poongodi, and Mr. Brathikan V M, Principal Architect, Kumaraguru Institutions attended the 18th education Leadership and Skill Development Summit on July 9, 2026, organised by The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCAHM), in Le Meridien, New Delhi.  The summit brought policymakers, chancellors, vice chancellors, directors, principals, educators, government officials, and EdTech leaders together who deliberated on education and skill development in India.
