Dr. S. Jaisankar is a Professor at KCT Business School with over 35 years of combined academic and industry experience. He possesses expertise in teaching, research, consultancy, and academic leadership, with specialization in Operations Management, Business Statistics, Data Analytics, Research Methods, Project Management, Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and Quantitative Techniques. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) from the Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore, an MBA in Operations Management from IGNOU, and a Doctorate from Anna University, Chennai (2012). He is a recognized Research Supervisor of Anna University and has successfully guided two doctoral scholars to completion.

He has authored six books in the areas of Business Statistics, Operations Research, Data Analysis, and Quality Management. In addition, he has developed ten study materials for MBA programmes offered by Bharathiar University, the University of Madras, and several other universities across India. An active researcher and academic contributor, he has presented more than 50 research papers at national and international conferences and has organized numerous seminars, workshops, faculty development programmes, and academic events. He has also served as a resource person for over 50 seminars, workshops, and national and international conferences, sharing expertise in management, quality, operations, and research methodologies.

His professional credentials include recognition as a Lean Consultant by the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII), Chennai, certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the Juran Academy, and recognition as a Lean Trainer by the Lean Six Sigma Council, USA. Dr. Jaisankar has successfully undertaken several industry consultancy assignments and has secured research grants from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). His contributions to management education and professional development have earned him several accolades, including the prestigious CMA Best Management Faculty Award (2021).
