SIIMS Visit to KCT Business School for NBA Accreditation on June 29, 2026

Faculty members from SIIMS visited KCT Business School to gain insights into the NBA Accreditation Process for Postgraduate Programmes. The session, held at the KCTBS Training Centre, focused on KCTBS’s accreditation journey, best practices, and criterion-wise documentation.

Dr. Sangeetha S., HoD (I/C), outlined KCTBS’s NBA accreditation journey across three accreditation cycles, highlighting key initiatives such as faculty workshops, gap analysis, documentation practices, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). Dr. Mayurappriyan P.S. explained the NBA accreditation framework, SAR preparation, evaluation methodology, and the importance of research, placements, consultancy, and quality enhancement. Dr. Vignesh Karthik S.A. and the Criterion Heads presented the revised NBA criteria, documentation requirements, and practical strategies adopted during the accreditation process.

The programme concluded with an interactive discussion on peer team expectations, documentation, and institutional preparedness. Participants appreciated the knowledge-sharing session and expressed interest in future criterion-wise workshops, file audits, and a structured mentoring mechanism with KCTBS Criterion Heads to support SIIMS in its NBA accreditation journey.
