KCT Business School organized an industry-led workshop on “Participatory Rural Appraisal Tools & Approaches” on August 25, 2025, as part of the industry research on “Exploratory Study on Factors Contributing to the Defunct of Dairy Cooperative Societies in Coimbatore District.” Experts including Mr. Senthilkumar P, Dr. R. Shanmugam, Dr. R. Thanammal, Dr. P. Mohanamani, Dr. B. Poongodi, Ms. S. Shanmugapriya, Ms. B. Shibi, Dr. S. Sonia and others shared insights on rural data gathering, feed & fodder management, FGD, KII, dairy cooperatives and Aavin schemes. Mr. Abhinandan Palanisamy K (Batch of 24-2026) led an interactive roleplay with students from KCTBS, Rathinam Institutions, KCLAS along with Aavin staff. Around 120 students and 25 Aavin officials actively participated. The workshop was coordinated by Student Coordinators Mr. Allwin Kenneth P, (Batch of 24-2026) along with Aravind P, Abinandhan Palanisamy K, (Batch of 24-2026) Jaresiah D, (Batch of 24-2026) Rithiksha CS(Batch of 24-2026) under the guidance of Faculty Coordinators Dr. P. Mohanamani & Dr. B. Poongodi.
