On September 3, 2025, students of KCT Business School & KCLAS undertook a field visit to five milk societies in the Anamalai Block as part of the AAVIN research project in collaboration with Ministry of Milk and Dairy Development, State Govt of Tamil Nadu to revive dormant and weak societies. Students were split into five groups led by faculty – Mr. Mohammed Nooruddeen (Ponnachiyur), Mr. Santhosh J. S (Kariyaanchettipalayam), Dr. Mohanamani P (Mayilapuram), Mr. Arivazhagan G (Kozhipannai), and Dr. Poongodi B (Ramanamudalipudur). Each team conducted Key Informant Interviews (KII) with society representatives and villagers, along with Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with milk-pouring farmers. Around 110 farmers were interviewed, 5 FGD s conducted by 60 plus students, 15 Aavin Staff and 5 faculty members,The visit provided crucial insights, while also enhancing students’ field research and community interaction skills.

Dr. Mohanamani P. organized an orientation session on the topic ‘Accessing CMIE Prowess Database for Secondary Data’ for II MBA Finance students on September 23, 2025. Mr. Nishanth from CMIE provided valuable insights on: (i) retrieving financial data for a single company, (ii) accessing PDF reports for individual companies, and (iii) handling queries effectively. Ms. Bhoomika (24MBA031) served as the student coordinator, and the session was attended by around 32 students. This orientation was conducted as part of the Research Project component.
