On March 18, 2026, KCT Business School organized a one-day workshop on AI-Driven Procurement and Production Scheduling for Minimizing Delays & Operational Excellence for 87 students( Batch 2024- 2026 and 2025 – 2027 (51 PM students) and Batch 2025 – 2027 (36 Operation Students).
The workshop, featured industry experts Mr. Vasanth Davis (Harp & Rose Consulting), Mr. Zenob Antony Stephen (Cognizant Technology Solutions), and Mr. Sathyamurthy C (CMSDI).

Sessions provided insights into AI applications in operations, procurement strategies, demand forecasting, supplier optimization, and production scheduling, while the afternoon focused on simulation-based learning. Students engaged in team activities that emphasized real-time decision-making, resource allocation, and problem-solving under constraints, creating a practical operational environment. The workshop enhanced participants’ understanding of data-driven decision-making in operations, improved collaboration and problem-solving skills, and bridged the gap between theory and practice. The event reinforced the importance of AI-driven business practices in preparing future managers to address real-world operational challenges with efficiency and innovation.
