PSA Malaysia Sustainability Benchmark on 27 April, 2026

Kumaraguru Institutions (KI), in collaboration with PSA Malaysia, hosted the PSA Malaysia Sustainability Benchmark Visit 2026 to strengthen global partnerships in sustainability, innovation, and net zero transformation from  April 27- 29, 2026.The visit focused on moving “From Observation to Action” through practical benchmarking and collaborative learning.

The programme featured sessions on PSA’s Smart Green 2030 Roadmap, campus sustainability infrastructure, renewable energy systems, circular economy practices, and AI-driven sustainability solutions. Delegates explored KI’s 250 kW Solar PV System, SCADA/IoT monitoring, Resource Recovery Park, and wastewater recycling initiatives. A major highlight was the emphasis on students as sustainability innovators, showcasing projects in renewable technologies, sustainable design, and entrepreneurial solutions. The visit also laid the foundation for future collaborations through joint research, co-developed sustainability curricula, faculty and student mobility programmes, and shared net zero frameworks.

The KCTBS Flagship Net Zero Conclave further strengthened academic collaboration through discussions on curriculum design, Centres of Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma integration for industry-based sustainability solutions with the visit of six delegates from Malaysia .
