The Department of Management Studies organized an online guest lecture on “From Theory to Practice: How Market Research Drives Procurement and Supply Chain Decisions in Real Projects” on April 18, 2026 for MBA-PM, (Batch 2025-27). The session was delivered by Mr. Ragul Guna, Global Sourcing Analyst at Beroe Inc, Chennai.
Mr. Ragul Guna, an alumnus of KCT Business School, shared his industry experience in the domains of category intelligence, sourcing strategy, and procurement analytics across sectors such as engineering, construction, and oil & gas.
He emphasized the critical role of market research in procurement decision-making, highlighting how data-driven insights support effective supplier selection, cost optimization, and risk mitigation. He elaborated on real-time industry practices, including supplier evaluation, global sourcing strategies, and the use of procurement intelligence tools.
